Starlight Ministries Canada is dedicated to fulfilling the mandate of God to impact the world by presenting the eternal truths of the Scripture to all. Its practical application is aimed at guiding believers to live, love and depend on the truth of God’s Word in order to enjoy a dynamic relationship with Him. One cannot have relationship with the Lord without knowing who He is through his eternal Word.
The reality of the truth of God’s Word in the life of a Believer is expressed both in obedience to Him, and our daily interaction with others. The power of the Word brings life and revives the soul of man to seek after the true and living God.
It is the vision of this ministry that the hearts of people will be changed to see the reality of Jesus as the only true Light and only in Him we must remain and find true peace. The teachings of this ministry enlightens our spirit and by hearing the word of truth, we will come into greater revelation and understanding of God the Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God. It’s only in Him that we find our true purpose in life.

Mandate
PREACH & TEACH TRUE BIBLICAL DOCTRINE
To proclaim to the entire world the message of God’s love and grace, which is fully revealed in His Son Jesus Christ.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2 Timothy 3:3-4)
TRAIN AND EQUIP DISCIPLES
Nurture spiritual growth of the believer by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God, which will bring them into full maturity in Christ.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:11-13).
Statement of Faith
THE BIBLE is the inspired Word of God. It is the rule of faith and conduct and it brings direction and purpose of life. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; Heb.4:12; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
THERE is One God, externally existent in the persons of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)
JESUS CHRIST is God who became a man. He is both human and divine. He is fully God and fully man. He is God’s perfect man and man’s perfect God. (John 1:3-3, 14; Phil. 2:5-11; Col.2:9; 1 Tim. 3:16; Heb.01:5-9).
HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is distinct in personality but equal in essence to God the Father and the Son. The ministry of the Holy Spirit includes regeneration and indwelling at the moment of salvation, sealing the believer’s salvation and spiritual growth through revelation of scriptures.(John 3:6; John 14:16-17; 16:7-15; Rom. 8:9-14; 1 Cor. 6:19, 12:13; Eph 4:30).
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless humanity, the all-sufficiency of His atoning death and His bodily resurrection. Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We are justified freely by God’s grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through faith and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast. The Gospel is the greatest news the world has ever received. In repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, we receive salvation. (John 3:3, 16; Rom.3:24; 10:9-10; Eph. 2:8-9).
BAPTISM IN WATER
This is a command for all who have repented and in their hearts have truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. It is a declaration that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4)
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The full consummation of the Baptism of the believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public service and ministry. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:2, 6).
THE CHURCH
The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine destiny to fulfillment of the Great commission. Each believer is an integral part of the general body. (Eph. 1:22-23; 2:19-22).
THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS
God gives special gift and abilities to believers. The gifts are to be used to serve and build each other up. All believers have the privilege and the calling to use all their gifts to the glory of God. (1 Cor. 1:7, 12:27-31; Eph. 4:11-13).
SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ will bodily and visibly come back from heaven. With the sound of the trumpet, He will come with great glory and majesty. (John 14:1-3; 1 Cor. 15:51-52; Phil. 3:20; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Titus 2:11-13).
